Ten Tors Volunteer Awards

The Ten Tors Volunteer Awards application will now be an online submission and can be found on the Team Mangers Dashboard. The submission window will open on 08 Jan 24 and close on 01 Apr 24. Once closed, missed award applications will need to be submitted the following year (2025).

The Ten Tors Award is given to those that have given long service to Ten Tors over a qualifying period of time. The Award may be made to Team Mangers, Group Leaders, volunteer supporters or military and civilian enablers.

The qualifying years of service for having supported Ten Tors are as follows:

a. Tungsten - 50 years and over

b. Platinum - 40 years and over

c. Diamond - 30 years and over

d. Gold - 20 years and over

e. Silver - 15 years and over

f. Bronze - 10 years and over

The Ten Tors Tri-Award

The Ten Tors Tri-Award was introduced on the 50th anniversary of the Ten Tors Challenge in 2010. It may be awarded to Ten Tors organisers, enablers, team staff and participants for good, faithful, valuable and meritorious service contributing to Ten Tors success. It may also be awarded to those, who gallantly assist others during Ten Tors training or the Event.

The The-Award consists of 3 Ten Tors medals; bronze, silver and gold mounted in a frame with the name of the awardee and the date of the award.

Nominations for the Tri-Award may be made by anyone. In the first instance, nominations should be discussed with a member of the Ten Tors organising team, who may request a written nomination with evidence. Director Ten Tors will make the decision and will, where possible, present the Award.
